Traditional Guernsey

This is the authentic traditional Guernsey sweater: a unisex style made from 100% Pure British wool.

We source our Guernseys from one of the Channel Island's oldest family factories. They combine traditional techniques and skills with historic textured patterns and classic Guernsey style details. 

Finished by hand.

The yarn of our Guernseys is oiled before knitting to make these jumpers virtually waterproof, and they are extraordinarily durable: they'll last for decades!

Please note: traditional Guernseys are square in shape and are relatively short in the body. They tend to come up as hip-length (a couple of inches shorter than other jumpers in our collection).
