I was enjoying a lovely weekend visit to Southwold with my wife and daughter when I stumbled across this delightful shop. I believe we need to buy less, wear more often and make sure each item is well made in sustainable materials, even better if it’s made in the UK. Beside that being the mantra of this business they have so many wonderful pieces to consider. Sure to visit again the next time we head to that beautiful part of this island. The jumper looks fantastic, fits with a relaxed look, which is how I like to dress, keeping my wonderfully warm in the colder conditions.
Just received my jumper! I love it!!
I live in Texas, far from this sweater's birthplace. Nonetheless, I can vouch that is keeps one just as warm in the cold winds of the blackland prairie as I imagine it does on your blustery shores. I loved it so much that I bought two, and a third for my wife. Fantastic style, fits great, beautiful wool.
Simple, good quality, perfect colour (I went for mushroom).
It does have a very oversized fit, with quite a bit of extra fabric at the back and very long sleeves. In retrospect, I would’ve gone for an extra small (though a small was recommended by Blackshore, which was a bit frustrating). One thing Blackshore could improve is provide more detailed measurements for the jumper on the website :)
My new favourite winter jumper, very warm and cosy. The material is very light, soft and fluffy, not itchy, feels like chunky cashmere. Regarding fit, I'm 5'8", UK size 10-12, and got a size XS in Navy. I have broad shoulders and a full bust but the shoulder seam is still slopping with lots of space under the armpits for free movement and it still fits well under a fitted down jacket. The jumper is long in the sleeves and the body, and the hem is pretty tight too which means I can wear the jumper long, pulling it down to the hips and it doesn't ride up, or fold it inside as pictured on the model. Highly recommended!
